چکیده
Calcium (Ca2+) is one of the most universal secondary messengers, owing its success to immense concentration gradient across plasma membrane. Dysregulation Ca2+ homeostasis can result in severe cell dysfunction, thereby initiating several pathologies like tumorigenesis and fibrosis. Transient receptor potential (TRP) channels represent a superfamily Ca2+-permeable ion that convey diverse physical chemical stimuli into physiological signal. Their broad expression pattern gating promiscuity support their involvement cellular response an altering environment. Growth factors (GF) are essential biochemical messengers contribute these environmental changes. Since GF signaling, TRP channel or function could be valid strategy for exert effect onto target. In this review, comprehensive understanding current knowledge regarding activation and/or modulation by presented.

Regulation of the transient receptor potential channel TRPM3 by phosphoinositides
The transient receptor potential (TRP) channel TRPM3 is a calcium-permeable cation channel activated by heat and by the neurosteroid pregnenolone sulfate (PregS). TRPM3 is highly expressed in sensory neurons, where it plays a key role in heat sensing and inflammatory hyperalgesia, and in pancreatic β cells, where its activation enhances glucose-induced insulin release. However, despite its func...
متن کاملRegulation of canonical transient receptor potential isoform 3 (TRPC3) channel by protein kinase G.
Canonical transient receptor potential (TRPC) channels are Ca2+-permeable nonselective cation channels that are widely expressed in numerous cell types. Seven different members of TRPC channels have been isolated. The activity of these channels is regulated by the filling state of intracellular Ca2+ stores and/or diacylglycerol and/or Ca2+/calmodulin. However, no evidence is available as to whe...
متن کاملRegulation of canonical transient receptor potential (TRPC) channel function by diacylglycerol and protein kinase C.
The mechanism of receptor-induced activation of the ubiquitously expressed family of mammalian canonical transient receptor potential (TRPC) channels has been the focus of intense study. Primarily responding to phospholipase C (PLC)-coupled receptors, the channels are reported to receive modulatory input from diacylglycerol, endoplasmic reticulum inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptors and Ca2+ ...
متن کاملClassical Transient Receptor Potential 1 (TRPC1): Channel or Channel Regulator?
In contrast to other Classical Transient Receptor Potential TRPC channels the function of TRPC1 as an ion channel is a matter of debate, because it is often difficult to obtain substantial functional signals over background in response to over-expression of TRPC1 alone. Along these lines, heterologously expressed TRPC1 is poorly translocated to the plasma membrane as a homotetramer and may not ...
متن کاملRedox regulation of transient receptor potential channels.
SIGNIFICANCE Environmental and endogenous reactive species such as reactive oxygen species (ROS), reactive nitrogen species (RNS), and other electrophiles are not only known to exert toxic effects on organisms, but are also emerging as molecules that mediate cell signaling responses. However, the mechanisms underlying this cellular redox signaling by reactive species remains largely uncharacter...
